As a devoted Sci Fi fan, I am outraged about the lack of Academy Awards for Sci-Fi movies, the preference for thrilling dramas, instead of high quality science fiction productions is predominant among the members of the Academy.

Good Sci Fi movies stand out, not because their astronomical budgets or superb visual effects, but because their outstanding art and almost perfect written stories, also by virtue of the positive impact in critics and the invaluable contribution to film industry.
